 The 8th Pendle Beer Festival - proudly brought to you by East Lancashire CAMRA - opened its doors to the public from Thursday 2nd to Saturday 4th February 2012 and brought you some of the very best real ales in the country.
This year's "Champions" theme saw many local, regional and national award-winning beers will showcased at East Lancashire's premier festival! Over 100 real ales and ciders were available and, despite the weather throwing its worst at us on the Saturday, we still saw around 2000 visitors through the doors in all, proving once again that people appreciate the care and attention CAMRA volunteers give to serve beer in tip top form. Once again our chosen charity, Pendleside Hospice, did a wonderful job leading up to and throughout the festival, and with your generosity we are pleased to say we raised another record amount for this important local organisation. We hope to see you at the 9th Pendle Beer Festival in February 2013! |
