Welcome to Pendle Beer Festival

This was the big one! Thousands of you joined us for our 10th anniversary celebration from 30th January to 1st February and treated yourselves to a stunning range of beers as we returned to the theme of our first festival - Local Ale!

There are now over 100 breweries, large and small, within a 30 mile radius of Colne, so you had no lack of choice! With music on Friday and Saturday, a great array of ciders and perries, and the famous Pendle Festival atmosphere, this was an event not to be missed!

Once again our chosen charity, Pendleside Hospice, did a wonderful job leading up to and throughout the festival, and with your generosity we are pleased to say we raised another record amount for this important local organisation. We hope to see you at the 11th Pendle Beer Festival in February 2015!

Record fundraising for Pendleside Hospice
Posted 26 March 2014 by Paul Brown

The 10th Pendle Beer Festival was a fantastic success with a record £7,511.64 being raised for Pendleside Hospice. This remarkable figure was achieved through barrel sponsorship, raffle ticket sales and kind donations.

It goes without saying that Pendleside Hospice would like to thank all those involved, including Hospice volunteers, East Lancs CAMRA and in particular Martyn Pashley (festival organiser) who, with the help of his team, worked relentlessly to put on the event and make it so successful.
