Welcome to Pendle Beer Festival

The 9th Pendle Beer Festival - proudly brought to you by East Lancashire CAMRA - opened its doors to the public from Thursday 31st January to Saturday 2nd February 2013 and brought you some of the very best real ales in the country.

This year's "Great Outdoors" theme saw many local, regional and national award-winning beers will showcased at East Lancashire's premier festival! Over 100 real ales and ciders were available and we saw over 2500 visitors through the doors in all, proving once again that people appreciate the care and attention CAMRA volunteers give to serve beer in tip top form.

Once again our chosen charity, Pendleside Hospice, did a wonderful job leading up to and throughout the festival, and with your generosity we are pleased to say we raised another record amount for this important local organisation. We hope to see you at the 10th Pendle Beer Festival in February 2013!

Record fundraising for Pendleside Hospice
Posted 22 March 2013 by Paul Brown

The 9th Pendle Beer Festival was a fantastic success with a record £6,500 being raised for Pendleside Hospice. This remarkable figure was achieved through barrel sponsorship, raffle ticket sales and kind donations.

It goes without saying that Pendleside Hospice would like to thank all those involved, including Hospice volunteers, East Lancs CAMRA and in particular Martyn Pashley (festival organiser) who, with the help of his team, worked relentlessly to put on the event and make it so successful.
