Once again the official charity for Pendle Beer Festival 2012 will be Pendleside Hospice... Pendleside Hospice is a registered charity meeting the needs of people with cancer or life-threatening illnesses in the Burnley and Pendle area. The purpose of a hospice is to improve the quality of life for its patients. This is achieved by medical and specialist nursing care, and the provision of social, emotional and spiritual support for the patient and their family and carers. Care is given unconditionally and free of charge to adults who need it regardless of religious or cultural belief. Contact Pendleside Hospice We support Pendleside by donating the value of your unused beer tickets when you leave the festival. We also promote barrel sponsorship which allows you or your firm to get free entry and some free beer in exchange for a £40 barrel sponsorship. Finally, we also sell breweriana merchandise from the product stall at the festival. All of these monies go directly to Pendleside. |
